Friends from across the Atlantic
When he visited Braidwood
for the first time back in January 2004, Oklahoma born and Texas
based George Murray promised to bring his family with him next time
round. That's just what he did on Sunday 19th June 2005 when he
visited with his parents, his wife and 3 sons. George and his father
Richard generously presented Ground owner, Jim Black, with state
flags from Texas and Oklahoma that were immediately raised to blow
proudly in the summer breeze beside the Ground's home nation banners.
(That's Joyce balancing on the front of the fork lift!) He and the
older 2 sons went on to take part in the competition for the Ronnie
Sharp Cup squadded along with Jim Black, Bob Clark and Davey Bertram.
