The shooting Ground is situated in the heart of the Borders on the outskirts of the small Border village of Midlem on the B6453, sign posted from the A699 St Boswells (A68) to Selkirk (A7). We are tucked away in beautiful countryside yet easy to find and only an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the M6 Carlisle junction.

Novices and experienced shots are made most welcome. Youngsters can also have a go, depending on age and build. All necessary equipment is provided with no special clothing required. Just remember though, it's an outdoor activity!

For the keen clay shooter, ours is a championship standard sporting clay ground with over 80 fully automatic traps. The new Skeet and DTL ranges are now open although there's still a deal of landscaping to be done. An exciting new development is the multi trap sporting arena based in the covered DTL stand. Here you can play with up to 8 different targets out of the wind and cold.

Our simulated game days give the full sensation of a live driven game shoot, are great fun and the source of much excitement. With launchers hidden on top of a natural 90' banking the targets simulate some of the best game shooting available. The very special High Pheasant comes off a cherry picker with birds up to 180 feet . It's a huge hit with game and clay shooters alike!
